Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 April 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Jazhi (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Service description

Jazhi is a BAS workflow platform for registered Australian tax agents. It provides bank-statement parsing, transaction categorisation, BAS computation, practice-management tools, and client-communication automation. The Platform is operated by Tax Tracker Pty Ltd (Tax Agent 26321143), itself a registered tax agent practice. Use of the Platform's outputs in client work is the responsibility of the registered agent operating it.

3. Eligibility

You must be a registered tax agent, BAS agent, or an authorised representative of a registered practice to use Jazhi for client work. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA) and Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) requirements.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter.
  • You must review all AI-generated categorisations and email drafts before lodging or sending.
  • You are responsible for lodging BAS with the ATO — Jazhi does not lodge on your behalf.
  • You must keep your login credentials secure.
  • You must not use Jazhi to provide unlicensed professional services.

5. Subscription and billing

Jazhi offers paid subscription plans billed monthly (see /pricing). Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time via the Customer Portal. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the billing period. See the Refund Policy for the 30-day money-back guarantee and other refund terms.

6. Data ownership

You own all data you upload to Jazhi. We do not claim intellectual-property rights over your client data, bank statements, or BAS records. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Platform's features. Your data is never used to train AI models — see the Data Handling Policy.

7. AI categorisation and email drafting

The Platform uses AI (Anthropic) to suggest transaction categories and draft emails. AI outputs are assistive — you remain responsible for reviewing and accepting them. AI outputs may contain errors or omissions. Before any data is sent to the AI provider, a redaction layer strips identifiable information.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not currently publish a formal SLA. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated via email. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, and we recommend that you do not leave BAS preparation until the day of its due date.

9. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising out of use of the Platform is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including lost profits, incorrect BAS lodgements, or ATO penalties resulting from your reliance on AI-generated outputs without review.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Account deletion permanently removes your data within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Disclaimer

See the Disclaimer for what Jazhi is, what it isn't, and how AI outputs should be treated.
