Common questions

Pricing questions, answered.

Do I pay per user or per client?›

Neither. Plans cap on active clients per tier, with a generous annual transaction allowance as fair use. There are no per-user fees and no per-client fees within your cap.

What happens if I reach my transaction allowance?›

You'll see a banner in the categoriser at 80% and again at 95%, so it is never a surprise. At 100% new statement processing pauses until you upgrade — everything already saved stays available, and lodging work in progress is never blocked.

Is there a free trial?›

Yes — 1,000 transactions free, no credit card required. That is enough to run real clients through a full BAS before deciding.

How does this compare to hiring a junior?›

A junior bookkeeper at $35/hr who spends 4 hours/week on reconciliation and BAS prep costs roughly $7,000/year. Core ($299/mo on a 12-month plan) covers a 25-client book for about half that — see the ROI calculator below for your specific numbers.

Annual plans?›

Monthly pricing is what we publish today. If you'd like annual pricing for budgeting reasons, email zaki@taxtracker.com.au and we'll work it out directly.

Where is my data stored?›

Australia, on Supabase ap-southeast-2 (AWS Sydney). OAuth tokens and SMTP passwords are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. Your data is never used to train AI models. Full architecture is on the Trust Centre.

Can I change plans later?›

Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades prorate immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing period.
